Let me share my check list, may be you will be benefited by the same. Because, if the travel organisation is not well, you will land up in trouble and irritation and ultimately, the happiness or the relaxing favour which you are attempting at ,will disappear. Just think of a time, when you had to pack your bag, within an hour before your flight or train. What hustles and nerve racking it was!
Whenever I go to a travel for a week, may be it an office tour or a vacation I do always carry my driving license and passport. Next to that are my essentials are like earplugs, (which cannot be borrowed from anyone else), a pair of flip flops, because I prefer to use it in hotel bathrooms or beach time, a bottle of drinking water, proof on insurance,a little pouch or a zip bag where I can carry my watch, money clip, hotel keys, together in a safe mode.
Then comes the extra cell phone chargers, batteries ,clothes pin, to hang my wet clothes as required after bath, a torch or flashlight, a insect repellent and though not necessary, but a pocket binocular is preferred.
While packing, please do remember; pack as light as possible, because it is you who have to carry the luggage. I always choose travel bags with wheels, label and tag my bags and make a mental count of the numbers .I pack my bags keeping the least needed at the bottom of the suitcase and the essential or frequently used one at the top for easy access. One tip for you, that is roll your nice clothes, so that you can avoid wrinkles on it, if it may occur in your travelling hazards. Don’t ever miss out extra pairs of socks or handkerchiefs which are small but highly essential.
